ACRYLIC APPLICATION

Once you have finished blending the tips in on one hand and you are happy with the length, apply primer to the natural nails on one hand. I always apply primer twice. Once the primer has been applied, pick up a medium-sized bead and place it and pat very lightly onto zone one of the nails, make sure that your Acrylic bead is not too wet, as this will cause the Acrylic to run. Keep patting lightly on the acrylic to make sure it is smooth and not bumpy. When placing the acrylic onto the nail, use the belly of your brush and the tip to smooth it.

Using the tip of your brush, lightly wipe away any unwanted acrylic. Once you are happy with the bead placement on zone one, pick up a large-sized bead and gently press it into zone two. Place the large bead in zone two into the middle of the natural nail. Gently push the acrylic towards the cuticle area and the sidewalls of the nail using the tip of your acrylic brush. Once you are happy with the bead placement, lightly brush up the acrylic onto zone two using the tip of your acrylic brush, do this lightly. Do this step lightly to ensure all the acrylic is nice and smooth, removing any unwanted acrylic, using the belly and tip of your brush.

Ensure the acrylic is not too wet as this will cause the acrylic to be runny and go onto your client's finger. Always ensure you do not get any acrylic onto the client's finger. Repeat this on one hand and then go onto the next hand.
